Spring has sprung the go karts come to NHMS

The first event of the season at NHMS is the Karts on April 17th. Trying to revitalize the event it is on a contingency that the attendance is there to make it worth while. In other word if enough people don't show up for this one day event it will be canceled. This I feel would be a great lose for the Northeast area. Moving on, there is a spring fling party at Moto Market in Acton, a local motorcycle Cafe'/apparel shop, that is 4/3 rain or shine. RTTR will be at both events announcing the Super Sprox line that we are now a dealer for. These good looking sproket with an new gold chain will add bling to any bike. The season will move fast with Atlanta the next weekend and then LRRS the weekend after that, so get ready and contact us rides or information . See you at the races .

One Minute to the One Minute

One week till the crazy train leaves for Florida. First stop Homestead for a Daytona warm-up. This kicks off the season of roadracing and gets us back up to speed after the holidays. You know , put down the remote and get off the couch. Then back up to Daytona for bike week. This is your final warning. Bus leaves 2/9/2010 don't miss it.

The LRRS banquet is at a Marriott Hotel with an indoor water park (Coco Keys). This looks like fun in the sun if you are stuck up north in the land of ice and snow. RTTR will be there and making a quick exit three days later for the real thing, Miami. We are starting the season off with three days at Homestead. Then after a little fishing up to Daytona for eleven days. As always we will be working both events. The season is WFO. Just got confirmed for WSB in May in Utah, Karting starts the first week in April, LRRS starts later in the month of April, and the list goes on. The New Year

The new year has come upon us fast and furious. The people and the rules are changing at an even faster rate. All in all we will have to see what happens and that is the appeal of any year. All I now is that RTTR will be there to see the ups and downs, the wins and crashes, and everything that goes with it. So lets get started, You don't want to miss anything. It looks like the New York show will start the season off up here in the North East. As every year RTTR will be making the trip to the city for a weekend of fun. If you are thinking of going let us know. Get in on the plans early, not only for the show but the yearly trip south and the first races. This season promises to a great one. Be there.

The End is Here

This will be the last event of the year for RTTR. We are headed to Homestead for the last race. As always we will be manning the corners. If anyone is in need of transportation let us know, there is still room for bikes and riders. We will be there for the 5th and 6th of December. Just remember that when one door closes another open. The 2012 season is just weeks away. Time for a party, some fishing, and a chance to hit the slopes. 2010 has so much I will just leave it at that. The imagination is always better that reality. Daytona Biketoberfest

Can't believe October is here. But were going to Daytona. RTTR will be working the corners for four days next week. If your going let us know. If your up north, New Hampshire has one go kart event left in two weeks. So either way, the warmth down south or the colors of fall up north, the racing is great, and we hope to see you at the races.

Season Ends in Northeast

The summer moved fast and the end is near. The last LRRS race of the season is on deck. October 3&4. The weather is cooler but still nice. The fall foilage is setting in. The racing still hot. AMA at NJMS

The AMA has a National at New Jersey Motorsports on Labor day weekend and RTTR will be there working the corners. This is a new track both in construction and new to the AMA. We are very excited to work there and be part of Matt Mladens last ride. If Anyone needs info or transport let us know. We just got off a great weekend at New Hampshire and want to remind you that there is a LRRS race the same weekend. Hope to see you at one of the events. Millville NJ report

A good time was had by all down in NJ last weekend. The weather was great, the racing even better, and a very nice new motorsport park. Two thumbs up and we are planning to go back in September to work the AMA event. But before the AMA race don't forget the WKA Karting event on 8/8-9 and the LRRS event later in the month. September hold Moto GP at Indy , AMA at NJ, and a LRRS event. So stay on top of the racing. We will be there so e-mail us if you need transport or make sure you stop by at the races.

Half Way thru the Season

Have you been to the track? Did you freeze in Florida? Did you work in Utah for World Superbike and got paid nothing? Or maybe Laguna and got reduced pay. Well let us hear about what's happening out there. We are headed for Millville in NJ for the first time, can't wait to see what's it like. At least we will be with people we have worked with before. The sun has also finally come out and the rain as stopped. Maybe the second half, is the better half. Now that I got that off my chest I can move forward. Here we go. This is the first LRRS weekend 4/25-26. Club racing at it's best. RTTR will be there working the corners. Free camping, BBQ, and the best seat in the house are three great reasons to come work with the crew at NHMS. Come make friends and contacts to any roadrace in the world. Daytona Bike Week

Travel plans are now in the works for the yearly trip out of the ice and snow to Daytona. Departure date is February 15th, Spots are filling quickly, so if your going to go, reserve that space early. There still is space for bikes, people, and gear. As always RTTR will be working the event. Applications are out and must be sent in if you want to work, and get paid. This starts our season off and paves the way to the 2009 season. For any information on this contact us and we will be glad to set you up. This year looks lke another stellar year. Bike Week, LRRS Banquet, International Bike Show, and More

With the start of the new season a few items are on the list. Applications for corner working at Bike Week at Daytona and the rest of the season have been sent out. If you didn't get yours or need one let us know. Second there are two events scheduled for this weekend. The LRRS banquet is Saturday the 17th. A good time with Ice Racing at the Hamilton Rod and Gun Club on Sunday. Second event is the International Bike Show in New York City at the Javits center. RTTR will be at both events. Plans are being made to travel to Daytona in the near future. Space for people, bikes, and gear are available. Let us know if you are going. Plans for the rest of the season are in the work, so stay tuned.

Homestead Florida

I have two events coming up next weekend, One RTTR will be at and sadly one that we will not be at. The first is Daytona. We will be working the corners for the for the first time for Daytona Motor Group. We hope that this is an important cross road for corner workers. This event is the final event in several orginization. We hope that it is premier fall event that was planned. The second event that we had to pass on is the local karting event in New Hampshire. Both events offer great weather. The warm to the south and the fall foilage to the north. Either way the racing will be great. So don't miss out. Hope you can make it to the races.

Working for DMG

Do to the latest turnover of corner working rule, RTTR is proud to announce that both of us were picked from the top in the country to work the October races at Daytona. DMG is trying to put together a top notch group of corner workers from all clubs around the US and some from Canada. Only the best from each group were invited to work this event. I hoping this will be the start of a professional group that will be used at AMA, Moto GP, and World Superbike here in the US. No more Mid Ohio disasters. In the long run I guess you get what you pay for. So RTTR will be working the Biketoberfest at Daytona. If there is anyone going let us know. Plans are being made as I write this. I don't even know why I came home? Just finished a three day national go kart event at NHMS and Friday starts a LRRS event back at the track. Summer Nationals in Worcester

The fourth will provide plenty to do with the summer nationals rolling in to Worcester. Stunting, burnouts, old cars, fireworks set the stage for a holiday weekend. The summer is in full swing. Just got back from NHMS. The classic was great, a big turn out and the BBQ went well. The rain and clouds came in early Sunday morning to cool things down. The racing was still hot. But on to business. The Holidays are apon us and Moto GP is right around the corner. This weekend is bike week at Loudon. Even thought it is not a National race, LRRS has kept the classic alive with increased purse and support classes and events. RTTR will be working the event. The rain didn't stop the races last weekend but did make for a cold wet one. This coming weekend looks to be warmer and sunny. RTTR will be there and hopes to see a better turn out. The snow has melted and the track is open. The 2008 season of club racing season starts this weekend. NHMS kicks off the LRRS season with some of the best club racing in the country. Kart racing at NHIS will be the ice breaker for RTTR's northern exposure. April 6th and 7th, which is a Friday and Saturday. We will be there for both days working corners. As I sit here freezing my ass off Daytona is on my mind. Two weeks ago it was seventy and I thought I was in Florida driving around in shorts and a tee shirt. Today -3 and a wind chill of 20 below. Too much change too quick. So I started packing my bag and thinking of what excuse I can use for leaving next weekend for Daytona. The cold is the only one I really need. Last call for the trip to New York. We're going to New York on Thursday for the cocktail party at Ducati New York. See the unveiling of the "New Blue" motorcycle built by NCR. The 1098 and hypermotard will also be there. RSVP is needed so let us know so you can get in. Then off to the show at the Jacob Javits Center. It's still up in the air if we will try to make it back to Boston to hear Eric Buell speak at Lars Anderson Museum of Transportation. That would be Friday night. A long weekend in the City might be just what the doctor ordered. Please let us know if you want to go with us or if you will be there and meet up down there. Then we can make plans to which plan we are going to use. The Cruiser, slow but easy or the sport to get us in and out quickly. On a final note there is always the yearly Killington ski trip. I know what snow. But this mild weather can't last till April. Think about it.

Ride to the Races

RTTR is off to a great start. We squeezed in a Bike Night with all the mild weather we are having. Yesterday it hit 70 degrees here. Thats record setting for January. The New York trip is starting to take form. It looks like there is a cocktail party Thursday night, then a Friday visit to the show, and a fast trip back to Boston to hear Eric Buell speak. This is 1/18 and 19. As usual if you snooze you lose. So put down the remote, get off the couch and make plans. You might get to see some cutting edge sport and race bikes besides you will be listening to a industry icon speak. Join RTTR for life in the fast lane.

Earnings - one corner at a time

Just a thought as I crunch the year end numbers. Rossi's income figures out to $5000 a corner for every lap that he makes. Here he is earning his keep followed by the world champion. Next year the battle will rage on and RTTR will be there to see all the action. So make plans now. You don't want to miss out on any of it. I would like to thank everyone that supported us this year. The Isle of Man TT

As I read Roadracing World it come to my attention that this year is going to be the 100th anniversary of the great island race. A star studded cast will appear for a lap on the mountain coarse. Is your passport in order. I think if there was a time to go it might as well be now. Let me know what your thinking. I have this on my life time to do list. With a little planning it could be a trip of a life time. Let me know if you are interested.

I am happy to announce that RTTR will now be offering Airtech fairing products. As a new dealer we have listed them in our link and are able to order the products offered in their web site. Airtech is a leader in OEM part replacement at a reasonable price. In some applications they are the only place to get such parts. So if your building vintage, replacing broken, or upgrading, parts are available to us at a reasonable price and delivered locally. I know that I'm going to get up off of the couch and start a vintage restoration project that has been sitting in my garage for way too long.

We're setting the schedule for the 2007 season believe it or not. Some early dates are coming up soon. Christmas Party/Bike Night at the Dive on December 21st. Maybe just a designated driver sort of thing. January 19th -21st New York Bike Show. Maybe another designated driver event. Going to the big city has strange effects on certain people. Ten weeks till we leave for southern exposure and Daytona. Just a little something to think about when they ask what you really want for Christmas. Now that the season is over and the holidays have started I look back on what a year it has been. We were there to see Nicky win at Laguna, Daytona must I say more, AMA nationals, club racing, go carts, the list goes on and on. If you were not there plan on this year. I haven't had a lot of time to post lately but one event that is worth seeing is the go cart national at Loudon this weekend. It is a three day event starting with practice on Friday and races Saturday and Sunday. RTTR will be there all three days working the corners. Some of us haven't left the track since getting back from California and going right to NHIS for LRRS racing, track days, and just trying to go north to stay cool. Thursday in Worcester is still a popular night to get a cold one at the Dive for Bike Night. Plans are being made to go to VIR for the AMA national in two weeks. So catch us if you can we move fast. Thats Thursday night at the Dive, Friday thru Sunday at NHIS, then off to Virginia mid week for Friday thru Sunday. Hope to see you there.

Moto GP update

This is just a notice to all that might be contacting us this week. No one will be here. We went to Moto GP in California. We will be back next week, mid week. For those of you that are lucky enough to join us we will be camping in the infeild and working the corners. I don't think we will be going to the next AMA race at Mid Ohio but we are planning to go to VIR. So many races, not enough time. Thursday is Bike Night and even if it rains the beer is still cold and plans are being laid for this weekend so don't miss out. In New Hampshire this weekend the races are being held in the streets of Laconia. Come see the vinatage bikes run on the street course to start off bike week in New Hampshire. LRRS at NHIS

As you can see club racing at NHIS is in full swing. Come join RTTR at the track May 13th and 14th for another action packed weekend. The weather is turning and there is no place better to be than New Hampshire in the spring time. If you want to work or just spectate let us know when you will be there. Moto GP

RTTR will be at the MotoGP in Laguna Seca in July. This is just a reminder that if you plan to work the race you must submit an application. These have to be approved and there is a May 14th dead line. We already got ours, spaces are limited so don't be left out. If you are just going to spectate lets us know, we will be camping at the track. I can hardly wait, Moto GP in the US way cool.

This weekend is the season opener for LRRS Racing at Loudon. RTTR will be working the corners and extending an open invitation to all that would like to come up and see motorcycle racing at it's best. The location is New Hampshire international Speedway, the dates are April 29th and 30th. The weather is going to be great so let us know if your coming. There will be a cook out Saturday night and camping is available in the infield. So join the party and see the best racing in New England.

AMA National at Barber

RTTR will be attending the AMA National at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham Alabama on April 21st, 22nd, and 23rd. If you are looking to go or transport equipment from New England let us know. We will be setting rates and schedules this week for next weeks departure. There are some thoughts that an extra day at the museum might be in order . If this doesn't fit your schedule we are flexible. You don't want to miss bama in the spring time. This is the second race of the AMA season and you don't want to miss it.

Kart at NHIS

This is the first event of the season for go carts at New Hampshire International Speedway. It is a Friday, Saturday event. RTTR will be there the 14th and 15th to view the action. So get off the couch, put down the remote and come see some real racing without the soap opera theatrics. A few girl friends still might face off so don't miss a single minute. We're Back

Now that winter is officially over and we are all tanned up from Florida let's get the show on the road. April brings three events to go to. First it's Kart Racing at New Hampshire International Speedway on April 14th and 15th. This is a Friday, Saturday event. Second is AMA racing at Barber Motor sports track in Alabama. This is on April 21st thru the 23rd. Friday, Saturday, Sunday event. Some thought is being put in to spending a day at the museum while we're there. And third is the spring opener of the LRRS Race series at NHIS on April 29th and 30th. RTTR will be at all three events. So stay tuned for more info.

Daytona 2006

It's that time of the year again. Winter is almost over and we are planning our annual trip to the season opener in Florida. RTTR is looking for people that want to go to Daytona for bike week. We will be hauling bikes, people, and equipment from New England to Florida. If you are interested in getting your bike there for bike week, are racing bike week and need your gear, or yourself transported to Daytona contact us soon. The New Year

Two items that are on the list this month are the New York Bike Show and Daytona. First the bike show starts 1/20 and runs for three days. The show is great and the Big Apple is always exciting. RTTR will be going down to the show Friday the 20th. So let us know if you want to go. Second, Daytona isn't this month but planning for the February departure date is needed. This is the first big trip of the season and a little time is needed to get it all together. So make your plans early.

White Christmas

Twas the night before Christmas and just outside my house, my Ducati sat idle and I in the house. Wearing my leathers and helmet I sat near the door, it was an act that Saint Nick surely could not ignore. When all of a sudden arose such a clatter, I ran to the window to see what was the matter. I could not believe what my eyes were seeing, Nor was it logical that the roads were deicing . Now I haven’t believed in a long, long time, but this was really a wish of mine. To ride on Christmas is just one day of the year, but now I know that Santa doesn’t drive a sled with reindeer.

With one week before Christmas we are all nestled in with family and friends. All the shopping is done, ya right, and there is still one more party to go to. The Dive, where bike night was held all summer, will have it's Christmas party December 20th. RTTR will be there with all our friends for one more rave before the holiday. Now that the land of ice and snow is upon us RTTR will be at Bike Worx for there Christmas party on Saturday 12/10. So come celebrate with Galen and the gang. Going South to Jennings and Homestead

The end of the CCS race season in near, October 21-23. RTTR will either be at Daytona for the races or in Georgia for the 50cc race at Two Wheels Only, October 30th. So let us know if anyone is interested in either one of these events. Just cause it getting cold and dark up here is no reason to put the bikes away. Lets go South where its warm. We have attended the Grits ride, it's not a race, the past couple of years and have had great weather and a good time was had by all. Daytona I'm sure has just as nice weather and they are always looking for corner workers. Great club racing too. So e-mail us if your interested.

The crew at NHIS must of been working overtime. Thanks to pumps and power, all the water is gone!!! RTTR will be at the WKA Go Kart National at NHIS this weekend. The racing starts Friday 10/14. Come see some of the up and coming drivers do battle on New Hampshire pavement. Let us know if your coming. Saturday night is the national party, you won't want to miss that.

This month has been possibly the best month for riding so far this year. That's why I have posted so little, that and there was nothing scheduled for this month. Some times things just work out. This is just a reminder that RTTR will be at New Hampshire International Speedway October 1st and 2nd for the last LRRS race this year.(see last post) Thursday September 29th The Dive Bar, remember Bike Night, will be celebrating it's 10th year with a party all Thursday night. Budweiser will be there with beer and other hand outs. You don't want to miss this one, just call in sick on Friday. October is just around the corner with LRRS the first weekend ,Larz Anderson bike show the second, and Go Kart national the third. More details to come.

Time Flies

There are no events sceduled for September, but riding and vacationing has taken it's toll on this month. New Englands great. Maine, riding , boating, the lakes were great over labor day. Nantucket for more riding, RR, and the ocean at this time of year is the best. There goes half the month. October 1st and our fall foilage ride is only two weeks away. We will be at New Hampshire International Speedway for the last of the LRRS races this year. Come Saturday or Sunday, or make a weekend of it. Ride to the Races will be holding one of our signature events October 1 and 2. We will be going up to NHIS for the last LRRS race of the season. Bike Worx will have the MZ line of bikes on display. We will be doing parade laps on the track both days at lunch time, refreshments, and great racing. Your $30 ticket will get you into the pits and free camping on the infield if you want to make a weekend out of it. Single day price for two days. RTTR again will be at the races this weekend. It's LRRS at New Hampshire International Speedway this week. Come watch some of the best locals race the technical NHIS road course.
